A recent study by – Physiotherapist LJ Nosse did a study titled ‘Inverted Spinal Traction’ published in Arch Phys. Medical Rehab 59: 367-370, Aug 78. Confirmed that inverting decreased muscle tension by over 35% within the first 10 seconds! Due to this significant reduction in pain the test group reported feeling an improvement in mood and general well-being.

So what other benefits can Aerial Yoga have on our minds and bodies? We asked Master Yoga teacher and Holistic specialist “Monique Gharios’ for the answer.
“Decompression of the spine is one of the basic advantages over normal yoga. Inversions relieve spinal pain enabling a person to have better posture. The spine affects how a person sits, stands and moves so needless to say it is one of the most important parts of our body.”

Some of the other benefits include, relief from insomnia, anti-aging, assisting in the bodies detoxifying process, stimulates the circulatory system, digestive system, and lymphatic system.
